Wenjue Hu, author of the new missions educational book So What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up? is serving in the ministry Hope Learning Center. This work is focused on helping immigrant populations in the US and those same people abroad through medical and educational services. The charity work includes medical consultations and language school, in addition to Bible study and prayer. Free food and gift items are also offered to the community. The books of Hope Learning Center are distributed throughout the US and beyond. Half of the book distribution is free, helping many people from all backgrounds of life. All of the book sale profits are non-profit. If the new book So What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up? sells more than 100,000 copies, Hope Learning Center will be able to fund its charitable activities, and build the free medical advice service, language school, Bible groups, and gift-giving in the US and beyond to the neediest people of the world.
Readers of this new book have been greatly motivated to serve people overseas in missions. This new book is helpful for the young child, teenager, retired people, and anyone interested in career exploration as it is related to missions. Each chapter of the book explores a specific career through Bible study, relevance in missions, educational training, and short story. Even anyone who is interested in career exploration in general such as a college student would seriously benefit from this educational book. A companion small group study guide is coming soon.
The Rich Man and Lazarus is a Gospel story from Luke 16:19-31. The reason I compiled this children’s picture book is that God used this Bible story to lead me to Christ. In this book, Pinyin is added to the New Chinese Version of the Bible verses for the purpose of learning Mandarin Chinese. At the end of the Bible Gospel story, this children's picture book makes a presentation of the Gospel. This is my first book in Chinese, which uses Bible verses to help children learn Chinese, and be introduced to the Gospel message Scripturally and pictorially in a simple and clear manner. Proceeds from the sale of this new book will also help in the funding of the ministry Hope Learning Center.
The new educational books offer great resources to missionaries and anyone else interested in the Gospel and serving God. These new educational books were completed in the latter half of 2013, and make use of Wenjue’s certification in education and seminary degree.
